About me
DANIELA CALVO REY
I'm endlessly curious about how people think — which is probably why I ended up in product design.
I'm drawn to the messy, undefined problems. The kind where figuring out the right question matters more than having a quick answer.
Outside of work, I read constantly, prefer to spend my time outside, and tend to go all-in on whatever has my attention.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
how i got here
I came to design through brand and marketing — which gave me a head start on thinking about why people make decisions, not just what they click on. The design roles came next.

tools i use
I pick up new tools quickly and stay curious about what's coming — especially as AI keeps changing what's possible in design workflows.

Figma
Where most of my design work lives, from early flows to final handoff.

Framer
How I created this portfolio. My go-to for highly interactive responsive web design.

Claude
Research, writing, brainstorming, and problem-framing. My most-used AI tool by far.

ChatGPT
Brainstorming, copy iterations, quick sanity checks.

Midjourney
Visual ideation and moodboarding when I need to think in images.

Miro
Workshops, affinity mapping, anything that needs a big messy canvas- especially in collaboration with others.

Optimal Workshop
Card sorting and tree testing when I need real IA data.

Notion
How I stay organized across independent projects and research.

Jira
Where I've lived during active sprints with engineering teams.

Azure DevOps
Another sprint management tool. I'm comfortable tracking work across dev and design.
A FEW OTHER THINGS
Since nobody asked
1.
What's my background?
2.
What do I do outside of work?
3.
WHAT'S MY GUILTY PLEASURE?
4.
What am I reading?
5.
What am I watching?
6.
SOMETHING YOU WOULDN'T GUESS?
